Every day we wake up, we face reasons to either be grateful or sad. Like the weather might just be a reason not to want to get out of bed, or the fearful state of a country might be holding you back from going out, or perhaps you want to go out and you realize you have nowhere to go or no one to visit you. The list is endless really. But there are also a thousand reasons to be happy and grateful despite whatever situation you may be going through.
The happiest people aren’t the ones with the most money, things, friends, power, attention, health or even love. These things only give us temporary feeling of satisfaction. One minute, they make us happy, the next, we’re searching for greater height of fulfillment. But the happiest people are the ones who practice gratitude and focus on loving life consistently, unconditionally. They are the ones who make progress towards their dreams and goals and derive satisfaction in knowing they are moving forward.
Even when it seems like everything is going wrong in your life, there is always something that’s going right. You owe it to yourself to find out what that is and bring it into your awareness. No one will love you if you do not love yourself. No one will make you happy if you do not radiate happiness. No one can give you confidence if you don’t feel self-worthy. It’s not a matter of someday. You can make that choice to drop that low spirit and strive to have a brighter and happier life, because the more you focus on the good stuff, the more good stuff you find.
So make it a decision to make today, and every other day of your life, an amazing and fulfilled day!
