Hi people! Hope you had an awesome weekend as we draw closer to celebrating the most celebrated season of the year – Christmas! Yippee!
So I’ve had a few things on my mind lately. Finances, investments, security, establishment, manifestation, these things are becoming burdensome in the pursuit of a perfect future.
Whether it’s working from 9 to 5 or being an entrepreneur or a business man/woman, one thing is binding, we all are in search of our daily bread, some more than others. Perhaps some even save for future bread. Others aren’t satisfied with only bread, we want the works, fame, status, affluence and what not. One thing is certain, everyone wants to be able to put their hands in their pockets and be able to spend as much as they want as often as they want to. God forbid we are even unable to afford the basic things in life.
For an intelligent and strategic mind, money or even from nothing, there are beginners’ ways of multiplying money. Little moneys lead to big one if managed and audited properly. The more it grows, the advisable way to go is investing, no matter how little. Money kept for no reason or for savings (not fixed asset), has a way of being spent on ‘nothing’. It just develops wings and flies away and you begin to wonder how you spent it all. Only poor minds hoard money. It doesn’t get anywhere, it doesn’t grow either and before you know it, you’re back to square one. Even the Bible says, where a man’s treasures are, there lays his heart. Investments give financial security and then it’s just a matter of time before you’re established in your works and the manifestation of where you want to be becomes apparent. Life, in itself, is hard enough. At least, give yourself some peace by engaging yourself intelligently, engaging your mind profitably and investing wisely. Liberating yourself from external forces which do not encourage success is to empower yourself. Empowerment has become an important term in the self-help arena which gives the confidence no one will ever be able to take away from you.
But before you start to ponder and re-strategize on your plans, I think this speaks first to me when I say, “let joy take you there”. It’s one of my favorite slogans this year or in fact the best I’ve heard this year – ‘joy will take you further’. By the way, I love love love Jude Law and Don Jazzy in the Johnnie Walker ad campaign (Just saying 😉 ). Joy will take you further to where you desire. It’s not the money or the success. It’s your state of mind that draws you closer to success, money and where you want to be. Otherwise, each level of success you attain will leave you wanting more and then your life becomes a rat race. Let joy be your determining factor to your outlook to life. After all, it’s still the season of JOY! 😉
