Chai! All these people stealing and looting moneys here and there, God is watching you o! How you sleep peacefully at night, knowing you loot public funds is beyond imagination. “Look! The wages that you kept back from the workers who harvested your fields are shouting out against you, and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of the Heavenly Armies.” (James 5:4)

It has become a subject of forced attention in the news: the messy theft controversy of the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke and a former Managing Director of a parastatal under the NNPC.

There were indications from the Monday Daily on how a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke and a former Managing Director of a parastatal under the NNPC got themselves into trouble with the police in the United Kingdom. There were claims that both purchased houses in London worth millions of Great Britain Pounds. They have both been under investigations after the purchases of houses in London since 2013.

It is reported that the police suspected that the mortgaged London properties might have been serviced with laundered money from the Government of Nigeria. That goes without saying. It is also reported that the British National Crime Agency on Monday obtained court permission to temporarily seize £27,000 (N8.078m) from the former petroleum resources minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke. The Federal Government has arrested the former minister while they are collaborating with the UK authority in the investigations and her trial.

  1. The figures are driving me nuts. Too much to even think about. If she’s truly guilty i hope she’s convicted and sentenced. It would help keep our political office holders sane at least for a bit.
