A poem for my daughter

untitled

I need you, you wonderful celestial

I need you to complete me,

I need you to come and vindicate my womanhood

It is God’s will that I be blessed by your coming

You are important to me, I need you to survive

Now you’re here,

I need you, you need me…

Stand with me, I care for you…

It is God’s will that every need be supplied.

You are important to me, I need you to survive.
Mummy loves you baby xoxo

  1. There’s no friendship like that between a mother and a daughter. Pure unadulterated love for each other.

  2. I can relate Buki :); I think of my “mini me” and I just smile remembering the special moments we have shared. Although they say there is a special bond between men and their daughters ( and its true) but there is something deeper, almost ethereal between a mother and her daughter, I can’t find the right words to describe it, you need to “feel” it to understand….
