Dreams can come true

In all situations, praise God. That’s what I’ve heard, read and tried to imbibe despite any emotional downtime.

These days, almost every blog I’ve read has something about dreaming big – don’t let anything stop you. It is inspirational and motivating to read on dreaming big. However, while dreaming is good, don’t spend your life dreaming about what you lost, what you can do or what you want to be. Actions, they say, speak louder than words. Get off your dreaming bed and live your dreams. And even if you’re past or present wasn’t or isn’t what you hoped it would be, change something, live your dream – stop only dreaming and enact the change you want to see in your situation, in your marriage, in your finances and see if you won’t start living your dreams.

Just like my pastor illustrated once, “women, stop dreaming about your first love that didn’t marry you. Be the change you want in your marriage, live it and be happy”. That struck a chord. Humans are used to living in past glories. You, who made it happen in the past, you still have it in you. Though happy times may not be forever, it doesn’t mean they will never come or happen to you again. Just continue to strive, work hard and believe. All things are possible to them that believe.

I hope I am able to encourage someone with this.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
